Reactive Ink Printing Process
●Before printing: pretreatment (sizing) is essential
To prevent ink from bleeding on the fabric, the textile must first be padded with a size paste containing thickeners, alkali agents, urea, etc., and then dried and set aside. Belt‑type printers can directly handle such pre‑treated semi‑finished fabrics.
●During printing: precise positioning is required
During printing, Digital Printing Machine the belt printer's printheads jet the ink exactly onto the designated positions. This is the only way to ensure accurate pattern definition and sharpness.
●After printing: steaming and multiple washing steps are necessary
After printing, the fabric must undergo steaming for color fixation, followed by several washing steps to remove unfixed dye and size residues. Reactive printed fabrics must be washed after steaming to remove loose dye, ensuring the final product is soft and free of residual chemicals.
